In my opinion, communicative and critical thinking abilities are essential to my future success in the workplace as an emerging leader.

The short excerpt is taken from the article "The Soul of Communication" emphasizes the importance of how communication skills and critical thinking are essential to the success of companies and their projects. 

I believe a leader is someone who inspires positive, incremental change by empowering those around them to work toward common objectives. A leader’s most powerful tool for doing so is communication and critical thinking.

Effective communication is vital for building trust, aligning efforts in pursuit of goals, and bringing about positive change. When communication is lacking, important information can be misinterpreted, resulting in strained relationships and, ultimately, creating barriers that impede progress.

Critical thinking enables leaders of all levels to evaluate their decision-making and how these decisions ultimately impact results. To address situations based on all available facts and information and become more acutely aware of their priorities, available resources, and how they need to be accountable for their decisions. These skills are invaluable in all industries and can help professionals address complicated problems.

Having these skills is essential for professionals in all fields as it allows them to tackle complicated problems.
